5 Things Writers Should Know In Article Marketing Business

29 April 2009 One Comment

Hi,

arti

There are a lot of information of how to make article marketing works. But there are few that give the idea of how to make an attractive article to compete with other articles in a webzine; what makes an article worth to read compared to other similar articles.

Following are 5 things writers should know to win the readers.

#1 - Think Outside of The Box

Article marketing not just about meeting targeted numbers of words, how many times a keyword mentioned in the article and hit points. The articles in it should respond to what the readers need. A non official observation found that web surfers will not stay longer than a minute to linger around in an article. When they find the introductory paragraph not interesting, they will click next button to find something else. BE THEM. By knowing what they need and want, you will be able to construct positive behaviors and responses towards the article that you have. Titles should strike the eye. They will give expectations to the readers that what the readers would find in the articles would be useful for them.

#2 - Do not Babble in Circles

Writers tend to write full noted articles with details, expecting that readers would have time to follow on the rest of the articles thoroughly and taking the important points and samples accordingly. Again, maybe it is good to have the articles detailed. But don’t expect readers would spend time to finish the whole feature. Be practical and concise with what you want to pass on in the articles. Then say it bluntly, be sharp in the utterance, and hit the right target of what are expected to be sought in an article.

#3 - Stay Alert

Be alerted with everything’s going on. There are a lot of things to write. You may not be a person who knows all. When someone challenges you to write about something, be eager to write even though you are new to the issue. Don’t set up boundaries just because you are new to a keyword. If you are new to a term, probably someone else is too. Dig it out and share the news. It is your opportunity to let everyone knows what they less know about.

#4 - Do not be Blinded by Deadlines

Deadlines can be choking. With such limited time, writers may unconsciously reduce the quality of the content. Stay calm and focus. The success of article marketing would depend on this. Quality of articles will be the “word of mouth” that would lead the articles to reach frequent hits. Do not forget to proofread the articles before you send them. You might miss one or two things during the writing. Make yourself as the reader when you’re proofreading the article. You will know what’s missing.

#5 - Be Productive

Set your timeline and start being productive. Target yourself the numbers of article you need to produce in a day, a week and a month. Never get tired of finding new things and be creative with the subjects you are going to write about. Be proactive by finding questions. Questions are the reason why explanations are needed. Wrap them in the form of articles. Control your productivity speed if you need a break. Plan the holiday by working extra so that you can still achieve the targeted submitted articles.
